Diigo
Have you ever heard of Diigo? I have not until recently. Diigo is a website that allows you to bookmark pages. When you find a website that you may like you are able to “tag” it. What this means is you are able to save the website in a way where you will not forget where you put it. You can save the websites in different folders, for example if you are teaching a science lesson and a math lesson, when you find a website for both you can create a folder so that way when you log back in it is easier for you to find what you are looking for. Once you have saved a website you are then able to go into the website and highlight the material you are wanting to remember. Once you highlight on a page you can save it and it will be on the page when you come back to look at it. There is also a feature to leave sticky notes. This allows you to leave yourself notes on the page. Again, you can save these and come back later to see what you wrote. This means that you do not need to write down your notes anymore and forget what website it went with! The best part is you can share it with other teachers. If you find something that would be useful for another teacher you are able to share it with them, this allows them to now have the information also. This is a great way to expand your knowledge while being organized! To learn more about Diigo check out this youtube video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0FTC_PAwnE
